Terms & Conditions of Sale

The agreement between you and Dollar Media Technology Limited (ChinaBridge) when you order a hardware wallet from chinabusinessbridge.com.

Last updated: 10 April 2026

Hong Kong law 2-year warranty 30-day returns

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (the "Terms") govern every purchase of a physical hardware-wallet device and related accessories ("Products") from Dollar Media Technology Limited (doing business as "ChinaBridge") via the website chinabusinessbridge.com. Please read them carefully. By placing an order you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not place an order.

1. Definitions

  • "ChinaBridge", "we", "us" means Dollar Media Technology Limited, Kam Fone Mansion, 16 Kam Fong Street, Mong Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong, registered in Hong Kong.
  • "You", "customer" means the natural or legal person placing an order on chinabusinessbridge.com.
  • "Consumer" means a customer acting outside the scope of their trade, business, craft, or profession, as defined under applicable consumer-protection law.
  • "Product" means any hardware wallet or accessory listed on chinabusinessbridge.com.
  • "Order" means your offer to purchase one or more Products under these Terms.
  • "Contract" means the binding agreement formed in accordance with section 4.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By ticking the acceptance box at checkout, or by otherwise completing an Order, you confirm that you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Risk Disclosure in full. These Terms replace any earlier version that may have applied to a previous order. The version in force is the one published on this page at the moment you place your Order.

3. Products and pricing

We list prices in US Dollars (USD) as our primary currency, with indicative equivalents in EUR and GBP rounded to the nearest unit for convenience. The currency actually charged is shown at checkout before you confirm payment. Exchange rates are refreshed daily.

  • For customers with a shipping address in the European Union or the United Kingdom, prices displayed include applicable VAT at the rate in force. VAT is shown separately on your invoice. For US customers, applicable state and local sales taxes are calculated at checkout.
  • For customers in other destinations, prices are shown exclusive of local import duties and sales taxes, which are collected either at checkout (Delivered Duty Paid) or at delivery by the carrier — see our Shipping & Returns page.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that prices, descriptions, images and specifications are accurate. However, obvious typographical errors do not bind us. If we discover a material error before dispatch, we will notify you and offer to (a) honour the correct price, (b) cancel and refund the Order, or (c) let you choose a replacement Product.

4. Orders and formation of the Contract

The display of Products on chinabusinessbridge.com is an invitation to treat, not an offer. When you complete the checkout flow, you make a binding offer to purchase under these Terms. A Contract is formed only when we send you a "Shipment confirmation" email containing a tracking number and invoice. The earlier "Order received" email is an acknowledgement and does not constitute acceptance.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an Order before dispatch, notably where: (a) the Product is out of stock; (b) the Order appears fraudulent or is flagged by our anti-fraud system; (c) the shipping destination is outside the list of jurisdictions we currently serve; or (d) the buyer has materially breached these Terms on a previous Order. If we cancel, we refund any amount already charged within ten (10) business days.

5. Payment

We accept the following payment methods, subject to availability in your country:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.
  • SEPA Direct Debit and local methods (iDEAL, Bancontact, Giropay, TWINT) where available, via Stripe.
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay.
  • Bank transfer in USD or EUR (orders are held pending receipt of cleared funds).
  • Bitcoin and Lightning Network, via our self-hosted BTCPay Server instance. Crypto payments are subject to a short price lock and are considered received when the network shows the required number of confirmations.

We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes on our systems. Our payment processors are PCI-DSS certified. Where a chargeback or dispute is raised without merit, we reserve the right to recover our reasonable costs.

6. Shipping and delivery

Shipping fees, methods, processing times, and destinations are described on our Shipping & Returns page, which forms an integral part of these Terms. We dispatch within 24–48 hours of Order confirmation for in-stock items and provide a tracking link by email. Delivery times are indicative; carrier delays are outside our control but we will actively assist in resolving any issue.

7. Risk, title and tamper-evident packaging

Unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer-protection law, title to the Product passes on full payment and risk passes on delivery to the address you specified. "Delivery" means physical handover to you or to a person reasonably appearing to be authorised to accept the parcel, or, where applicable, placement at the delivery location chosen by you.

Every ChinaBridge Product ships with a tamper-evident seal. If you receive a parcel whose seal is damaged or appears to have been manipulated, do not use the device. Photograph the packaging and contact [email protected] within 72 hours of delivery; we will ship a replacement at no cost.

8. Right of withdrawal — 30-day return policy

If you are a Consumer, you may return an unused and unopened Product within 30 calendar days of delivery for a full refund of the Product price. The tamper-evident seal must be intact. Refunds are issued within ten (10) business days of our receipt of the returned item and are made to the original payment method. Return shipping is at the customer's expense unless the Product is defective. The full procedure is set out on our Shipping & Returns page.

For security reasons we cannot accept returns of opened devices unless the item is covered by the warranty below or by your statutory consumer rights. Opening a hardware wallet generates cryptographic material that cannot be safely transferred to another user.

9. Limited warranty

We warrant that each new Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of:

  • Two (2) years from the date of delivery for ChinaBridge Vault and ChinaBridge Vault Pro. 2-year warranty
  • Three (3) years from the date of delivery for ChinaBridge Fortress. 3-year warranty

If a defect appears within the warranty period, we will, at our option, repair the Product, replace it with a new or refurbished equivalent, or refund the price paid. This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights — in particular, the two-year conformity guarantee under Directive (EU) 2019/771 for EU Consumers and any applicable implied warranties under US state law (including Hong Kong's Sale of Goods Ordinance).

The warranty does not cover: (a) accidental damage, misuse, or modification; (b) cosmetic wear; (c) damage caused by using the Product outside its environmental limits; (d) loss of the recovery phrase; or (e) loss of crypto-asset value for any reason. To claim under the warranty, contact [email protected] with your Order number.

10. Firmware and software licence

The firmware pre-installed on your Product, and any ChinaBridge companion software you download, are licensed — not sold — to you under the terms of the ChinaBridge Firmware Licence available at /technology.html (or in the NOTICES file on our public repository). Portions of the firmware are derived from open-source projects and are redistributed under their original licences, which include the MIT License, the BSD 2-Clause and 3-Clause Licenses, the Apache License 2.0, and the GNU General Public License v2 or v3 as applicable. A complete list of components, authors, and licence texts is shipped with every firmware release and mirrored in the NOTICES file of our source repository.

Nothing in these Terms restricts rights you have under the applicable open-source licences. Where a conflict arises, the open-source licence prevails for the code it governs.

11. Your responsibilities

A hardware wallet is a security device. Its effectiveness depends on how you use it. By accepting these Terms you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for safeguarding your recovery phrase. ChinaBridge never sees, stores, or has any way to recover your recovery phrase. Loss of the phrase means permanent loss of access to the associated crypto assets.
  • You will never disclose your recovery phrase to anyone, including to ChinaBridge staff. We will never ask for it.
  • You will verify each transaction on the device's own screen before confirming with the physical button.
  • You will buy only from chinabusinessbridge.com or from the authorised resellers listed on our support page, and you will verify the tamper-evident seal on arrival.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Our aggregate liability under or in connection with these Terms — whether in contract, tort, under statute, or otherwise — shall not exceed the total price you paid for the Product giving rise to the claim.
  • We shall not be liable for loss of crypto-assets, loss of access to wallets or addresses, or loss of the value of crypto-assets, where such loss results from: (a) your mismanagement of the recovery phrase; (b) phishing, social-engineering, or coercion directed at you; (c) malware, compromise, or misuse of third-party software you connect to the device; (d) a forked chain, protocol change, or smart-contract defect; or (e) any cause outside our reasonable control.
  • We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, or business interruption.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Consumers enjoy additional mandatory rights that are not affected by this clause. Where this clause would otherwise exclude a right you cannot waive, it does not apply to that right.

13. Force majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations that results from an event outside our reasonable control, including (without limitation) natural disasters, wars, embargoes, strikes, transport or customs disruptions, pandemics, failures of power or communications networks, or acts of public authorities. We will notify you as soon as practicable and resume performance once the event has ended.

14. Third-party websites and services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (including companion wallet software and audit partners). We do not control those sites, do not endorse their content, and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or privacy practices. Any interaction with third-party services is at your own risk and subject to the third party's own terms.

15. Intellectual property

All trademarks, logos, product designs, illustrations, and website copy on chinabusinessbridge.com are owned by Dollar Media Technology Limited or licensed to us, except where third-party material is attributed. You may view and download our content for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from it without our prior written permission, save for any rights granted by applicable open-source licences.

16. Modifications to these Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in our products, our operations, or the law. The Contract for each Order is governed by the version in force at the moment you place that Order. Material changes are announced at least 30 days in advance on chinabusinessbridge.com.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any Contract formed under them, are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, to the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The courts of Hong Kong SAR have exclusive jurisdiction. This choice of law and forum does not deprive a Consumer of the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of their country of habitual residence.

18. Dispute resolution

Before starting formal proceedings we encourage you to contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the matter informally. EU Consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Dollar Media Technology Limited is not obliged and does not commit to participating in alternative dispute-resolution procedures before a consumer arbitration body, unless required by mandatory law.

19. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the documents incorporated by reference (Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Shipping & Returns, Risk Disclosure, and the Order confirmation email), constitute the entire agreement between you and us in respect of the Order and supersede any earlier representations, communications, or agreements on the same subject matter.

20. Severability

If any clause of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, the remaining clauses continue in full force and effect. The invalid clause is to be replaced by a valid clause whose economic effect comes closest to that of the invalid clause.
